My Professional Bio

Hi! My name is Robin Rosales and I live in the Terrell Hills area of San Antonio.

I graduated from Reagan High School in 2005 and moved to Austin shortly thereafter. I attended the University of Texas at Austin where I completed two undergraduate degrees in Government and English, and a minor in Spanish.

I returned to San Antonio in 2010 and in 2011 began tutoring SAT and ACT English and Math for the Stone Oak branch of a national learning center. I continued to expand my tutoring areas of expertise to include K-12 math, reading, and English and was eventually promoted to the role of Assistant Director in 2012.

In 2013 I completed my MBA in International Business from the University of Texas at San Antonio. I currently own my own business as an independent mortgage broker, but have maintained a love for tutoring and education.

I currently offer one-on-one tutoring services for K-12 English and Math (through Algebra II), SAT, ACT, college admissions essays, and college level algebra. I offer my services in-home, on zoom, or at a central meeting location like a library!

And some personal info

I recently returned to the San Antonio area after living in Austin, Minnesota and Colorado for the past decade. I have a dog named Spooky, because I love Halloween, and I'm constantly trying to think up couples costumes for the both of us (Little Red and the big bad wolf, Mario and Luigi...I'm open to suggestions.) I am an unapologetic nerd with a wide gamut of interests: I love cooking, outdooring, and I LOVE coffee (In fact, I wrote my Master's thesis on coffee!) At any given moment I’m devouring books on one line of study or another; whether it’s the sci-fi, fantasy, or the life of Teddy Roosevelt–I am very impassioned in my pursuits. I feel at home in the outdoors with my hammock and a book, but also just really enjoy spending time with friends and family. And I actually LIKE math!
